ABOUT
Kaleb Scherer was born in Grass Valley, California, and left Northern California at 17 to spend his formative years in Nebraska. There, he discovered guitar and songwriting, inspired by his parents and an eclectic mix of early 2000s country (think Brad Paisley and Rascal Flatts) blended with the neo-traditional resurgence of the late 2010s (imagine Jon Pardi and Luke Combs).
A 2020 trip to Nashville introduced him to producer Jonny Houlihan, sparking his debut single “Rowdy in Reno” in March 2021. After graduating and relocating to Nashville, he released tracks such as “Island Dream,” “Remember the Songs,” and “Hey, Santa,” culminating in his 2023 EP, SONGS FROM THE HEARTLAND—a heartfelt nod to his Midwestern memories.
